Drew’s Kitchen
A new meal service in Aggieland
Drew’s Kitchen is a start up meal service company in College Station, Texas. It’s so new the website hasn’t even launched yet! The company was started by my friend Andrew Mangum in 2021 after he had talked to students who wanted to learn more about meal prepping. He learned that what the A&M students actually wanted was a convenient, healthy meal option at a low cost, and so Drew’s Kitchen was born! Andrew asked me to come up with a visual brand, and website as he made the transition to cooking hundreds of meals out of his house to an industrial kitchen in Bryan. Look for the Drew’s Kitchen website to launch in the next few months.
Scope of Project
Create a fun, memorable brand with tons of character including primary and secondary logos, color scheme, and physical materials.
An intuitive ecommerce website that is SEO, accessible, scores a high performance grade, and is responsive.
The Results
1. Memorable
The logo is quirky and has a retro yet modern feel. The logo, fitted with my own custom script and secondary font, pair well with the bright color palette to create a very memorable brand.
2. Easy Ordering
I nixed the whole “must create an account” trend and allowed users to add items to their cart first. The quick ordering process plays into the ever changing whims of the target clientele (AKA students).
3. More Sells
With the new ecommerce website Drew’s Kitchen is positioned well to increase their sells, keep up with orders, and grow their business!
